Purging into a bag?

okay this is obviously Trigger warning and yeah, TMI.

So recently, and I mean RECENTLY (yesterday) I started purging into plastic bags which I've been hiding in my bathroom, under my bed, in my closet, ect. Today I also did it because I took lax and while there was stuff coming out one end, I had the bag and had stuff coming out the other end too. :/ I'm sure other people do this, and I'm just wondering, what is your reason for it? Or just any input in general. I understand it would be more 'practical' for me to do it into the bathroom but there's something almost, exciting, I guess about doing it into a bag. I've also heard of people hiding food in their rooms. I don't know, I just needed to get this out.. haha.

for me it's more practical to do it into a bag when possible, because it keeps the toilet cleaner, minimizes odors, can be done anywhere, et cetera. i tend to throw up outside or in my closet or wherever i can be alone, then i toss some cat litter deodorizer in (lol) and throw the vomit bags out with the bags of cat poo so that no one questions it, which is just really convenient

the actual logistics of doing it though are gross, i drink loads of water with my food if i know i'm going to purge so i sort of projectile vomit and sometimes it yanks the bag out of my hand or splashes in my face which is ew

but yeah there is indeed some weird illicit thrill around having food hidden in your room or vomit bags or whatever; i remember when i was a kid i would have stashes of binge food hidden around everywhere.

There's also some logistics problems. What if your mum accidentally throws something out and needs to search in the bin for it? She goes to the bin and oh what's this MOUNT PURGETOPIA. Also, if there's a hole in the bag, HAHAHA nice try. Here's some free puke all over you. I end up doubling my bags. Because of the issues I end up not using the bag method too frequently. &if I do that, I dispose of the bags in dumpsters away from home.

Oh god, I double bag too. I have to keep my room door closed too otherwise my cat WILL get into it. And that's the last thing I need.

I have purged into a bag twice and it was only because the bathroom was occupied.
Yeah, I hate to say it but I did it in front of the tv. Like if anyone could see me I would probably kill myself from embarrassment.

When I was at my worst with Bulimia, I was pretty much only purging in bags. I'd hide them in this certain drawer in my closet in a big garbage bag, and every week or two, I'd throw it out. I guess I just did it for convenience, and it was more comfortable for me to purge in my room rather than risk getting caught in the bathroom. And like, in kind of a sick way, it was interesting to see the "progress" I made at the end of the week. Like, I'd kind of measure to make sure I purged enough, if that makes sense? Anyway, it was really gross, but it was my thing.

i purge into bags too because it's easier//less noticeable for me to do it that way.

it's pretty gross tho when i have to take out a trashbag filled with plastic bags of vomit 3-4x weekly. :\
i used to only purge in the shower//into the toilet and i'd purge once or twice a day but now that i'm more regularly purging into bags there's just no limit, i'll purge 7x a day if I can.

Ive also very recently started using bags to purge, I use the heavy duty Ziploc bags. I try to only do this as a last resort kinda thing, like when people are in/near the bathroom and I can't control myself. But i actually like it better than using the toilet, because the bags are so easy to dispose of without much cleanup. Plus, the toilet can leave an acid smell behind....

If I purged in a bag, it was because I didn't have access to a toilet, or any other place to purge for that matter. It can be super messy. It was a last resort type of thing for me.

I've only ever really done that when I've been unable to purge in the bathroom when I've been at someone's house. Puke in a bag and throw it out. Doesn't look suspicious either because it just looks like you're taking the trash out.

I purge in plastic bags fairly frequently. I live with my parents so I either go outside to purge (because my mom walked in on me purging in a bag in my room) or if it's raining or I'm too full to move I purge in a plastic bag and throw it out the next morning.
