Monster Energy Drinks?

What do you all think about Monsters for an energy boost/food replacement? I'm don't mean as an everyday thing, but just once in awhile as a pick-me-up. It seems to me like it would help with fatigue or weakness associated with restricting. But perhaps it could really shock an empty stomach as well? Let me know what you think.

They don't really help me much. I'm still tired, just tired and shaky/anxious.

I drink Red Bull every day of my life. It's the only thing I have until dinner. It's factored into my calories or course, but i'm pretty sure i'm an addict.

If i didn't drink it every day like you, I would just stick with coffee or tea. It's not much of a 'treat'. I'd save the calories for something a bit better

I love the zero cal ultra monsters! They usually cause some burping but they make me feel really full and they're really pungent so they get rid of like all my cravings. but for me they don't really give me an energy boost I really have no idea why but I'm a tired, low energy person most of the time anyway so yeah

I have an intense need for Monster Ultra at least once a day.

I like the Sunrise one.

It actually says on the monster ultra zero that it is not intended to replace food or fluid intake, ha ha.

I think thats a really bad idea. maybe a hot tea with caffeine?

Its just that you hear about all those 15 year olds overdosing on them, then you go and drink it on an empty stomach when you're feeling weak/faint... just like no.

We've all been there, Monster is going to make you projectile vomit on the person you're crushing on then you're gonna try and run away and slip and fall in your own vomit and you're already having a bad day.... I'm not saying this is going to happen to you, I'm just playing out a humorous simario but if it did happen then.... that wouldn't be good.

Carbonation - Neon Coloring - Chemical ingredients - A bunch of Gums and waxes - & High Fructose Corn Syrup...

I hope you pick tea, or nuts, or fruit or water

I'm saying this with good wishes and intentions not trying to hurt your feelings (A lot of sensitive people on here)

Honestly not worth it. If you arent eating those drinks can fuck your heart up more than if you were eating. Just not worth the money and they taste like shit lol.

I just discovered them last week!! Well, I've tried the regular ones before and just thought they taste like piss.. so I didn't try them for a couple years. But I have, and now every day since I've been having 2 of the ultra zero ones a day instead of coffee.. Today I think I started to feel the effects though, and I almost passed out in target. They have a lot of caffeine in them, so be careful if you aren't eating.. or restricting..

I used to drink 3-4 20oz sugar free redbulls a day. aside from minor tremors I didnt have a problem. didn't cause bloating and curbed my appetite.

OMFG I LOVE MONSTER THEYRE MY SHIT. I use those as my lunch. But I seriously swear I have an actual addiction to them. Apparently energy drink addictions is a real thing. My dietitian and clinician hate me drinking them. She like sat me down at a computer and like read out a government provincial (I'm canadian) article by healthBC about how bad they are and literally was so upset. But YASSS I love them and need help with not drinking them.... :/ I needed to vent sorry lol

Not a big fan of energy drinks. Especially when restricting- I don't think I could handle the palpitations. Then again I gave up my coffee addiction ages ago in search of a cleaner life.

When I'm having a really sluggish day at school, I like to run down to the store and grab an absolute zero, but on an empty stomach the just tend to make me really shaky and anxious... I still do it tho...

I drink one of the blue low-carb ones (the purple full diet one tastes like garbage) maybe every 3 days as a daily-intake replacement. I find it does curb my appetite, but causes some bloating and discomfort sometimes, not always. It also kills my caffeine headache like tea can't, and I hate coffee. It can sometimes also make me jittery and anxious, but I'm kinda that way as a person anyway, so it's not a big deal.

YES! me too. I usually have 2 a day and if not the sunrise, the citron one. I would not not not be able to get through my full time job without them at this level of restriction.
Lol whoa I posted this a full year ago and it's still true.

Except now it's more like 3x per day haha.

I'm not a huge fan of the Citron, but there's a black cherry one that just came out thats pretty boss.
