hey chat,
today i had to go to the er! this happened because i am on lithium and my potassium got too low resulting in mild lithium toxicity. so i’ve officially decided to retire from purging because that was genuinely one of the worst things i’ve EVER had the misfortune of experiencing. so for now i shall be restricting at mid-high res (600-900) while prioritizing potassium and protein while pacing and working out. i’m also going to stop doing omad because im getting really nauseous and can’t finish my omad meals resulting in not eating my minimum. my lithium was at
900 but its being dropped to 450 and im trying to have my psychiatrist prescribe me K+ tablets. he wants to have a chat first (scary).
DONT BP IF YOURE ON LITHIUM!!!!
i did find out today that im 53 kg even with clothes on 🙀

I’m sorry, that’s scary :( I would obviously never want to promote either type of disordered eating, but it sounds like B/Ping is putting you in immediate danger so it’s definitely best to stop or at least cut down on it. Good luck going forward.

i got lithium toxicity last year and was in the ICU for a week bc i was heavily restricting food and water. it was miserable.

they need to stop giving lithium to people who have an ed or history of one cause too little food and water will inevitably end in toxicity.
