Hey, friends.

I waned to ask you what are you doing when you know you mustn't eat, but all you are thinking about is food. Please, give me your tips to stop thinking about food all the time..

I restricted steadily until my body started to differentiate between emotional hunger/psychological hunger and physical hunger. Its much easier to ignore both currently.

I still think about food all the time though and enjoy looking at pictures of it and making food for others. It's just a different sort of preoccupation now. One that doesn't result in gaining weight.

First you need to eat healthy like eat normally and do dance and stuff and you will still lose weight when you have craving it's normal forget about its just an emotional stuff personally I think about food a lot but I can't eat it for some reason but I guess that it's part of it anyways... Look at inspiring healthy people Blogilate etc..

Well, according to studies, most food cravings only last about ten minutes. If you can keep yourself busy doing something else during this time period, like exercising, or trying your clothes on, the cravings may go away. On the other hand, if you've been severly restricting, you're probably actually hungry.

In that case I suggest you:

1. Drink a glass of water
if still hungry

2. Take a tsp of apple vinegar
(that's a real appetite suppressant)
and if still hungry

3. Eat something with very few calories but takes a lot of room up in your stomach, like celery, carrots, lettuce or cabbage. Make sure to chew slowly.

4. And as a last resort, I often have a few almonds, which are calorie dense, but are very efficient at reducing appetite.

There may be better ways of not thinking about food, or reducing appetite, but those are my methods, and so far they've worked for me.

If my hunger gets too bad, I just get a spoonful of peanut butter (approx. 100 cal) and eat it really quickly. You can feel it in your throat/stomach for hours after you eat it because of the consistency and it tricks your brain into feeling full.
