I'm trying to fast, but I don't want to jump into it. If I binge/consume my calorie intake during half the day and then fast for however long, will this help make the fast easier as far as dizziness and tiredness goes for the first day or two?

I also want to hear about your pre-fast rituals!!

Nope, don't do that, that will increase the chance of failure.

Dizziness and such symptoms can be relieved by hydrating enough

and taking your vitamins.

I used to do that!

I found that binging before a fast got me through day one, but after that my body thought it was crazy not eating! You feel so weak and dizzy its insane!

Before a fast i eat 1000 calories, i have 3 meals in that day, then the fast is alot easier to handle :)

I found drinking sparkling ginger beer helps the day before the fast, feels more detoxifying :)
