Am I at a plateau?

I feel like my body won't let me lose anymore. I have been eating 500-800 calories a
day and have lost so much, like nearly 40 pounds in 4 months. I am now at the medical "perfect weight" for my height at 115lbs and 5'3. If I eat less than 1500 calories I feel like I'm absolutely starved! I want to lose more but I don't feel like it's physically possible, like there is something making me eat more. Bleh, I don't know how to explain it in words. Have you experienced this? Am I at a plateau?

A plateau in the sense you cannot lose weight anymore surely not, there were no fat survivors in Andersomville, Ausschwitz etc. But psychologically maybe there is sort of a "barrier" that you've broken and turned a switch of sort? Btw. Why do you want to keep losing weight below your ideal medical weight?
