My lip was like that for the longest time, you're not keeping down enough water and your electrolytes might be messed up

 

This happened to me!!! Oh my gosh. I was purging too much (not exactly helping the healing process) and chronically dehydrated
I remember it hurt. Do you have lip salve or anything to cover it?

 

I had this for a while. It's gonna sound nuts, but I put a pimple patch over it one night and it was halfway healed by morning. Probably any hydrocolloid bandage would work similarly.

I also recommend Vaseline/petroleum jelly. You don't need a lot, and it's easy to dab a little more on it whenever it dries out.

 

i just got one on the side of my mouth!!! so freaking embarrassing going outside with it there and nothing works to get rid of it (aside from quitting bp) 😭😭😭😭

 

I have a crack on the top left side of my lip for the past 2 weeks cause I decided to take 5-8 times more than the recommended dose of lax (it was 'only' 3 times in a week so didn't know it would be so bad).

Didn't think to take enough electrolytes until the end of the week and drank at least 2 litre of water a day and there aren't any new cracks at least but that one still haven't healed, no idea what's going on.
