This girl struggles from depression/ anxiety and is chubby.
I told her off.
Cause she told me it's only physical and not in your brain, she said "you just gotta eat" never been more triggered in my life.
Sorry for my rant.

🙄🙄🙄🙄 yeah tell her to "just choose happiness" and while having a panic attack to "just calm down already". maybe she'll see she's being an ass.

Dumbest fucking thing when people with one mental illness dont believe in the severity of other mental illnesses. Like! Damn bitch! You of all people should know this!

If you've just gotta eat, then what's stopping you from eating?

If it's that easy then she should have an explanation as to why so many people can't do it.

Stg!! And I said it's not that easy. My brain is stopping me from eating.
And she just kept going on and on, even claiming she had an eating disorder once. So confused.

Anorexia is a mental health condition that is most comparable to schizophrenia.

However it lies on the same spectrum of mental problems such as OCD/depression/Autism/anxiety/Bipolar and mania.

A schizophrenic cannot just snap out of it or change behaviour, but they can reduce their symptoms a lot.

All of those conditions have the same cause - stress, but they will manifest differently in different people.

a physical eating disorder is just EDNOS and not related to those conditions I described
