Shopping. Love or hate it?!

I was dress shopping for a work event where we have to dress classy and what not. I found myself just getting so frustrated with clothes not fitting both either too tight or too loose.

I literally wanted to just cry from being so bland and blah in everything...

So I guess I don't really like shopping UNLESS it's for shoes. :) how about you guys?

Oh and then I heard these girls talking!
Girl 1- yeah I used to be so fat!
Girl 2- omg me too I lost so much weight!
Girl 1- how much?!
Girl 2- well I was 180 but now 150! So a lot

Girl 2 looks at me and then whispers to her friend "at least we have actually meat on our bones unlike bones over here...."

Um what!? I didn't even say anything for you to be so mean :( I hate shopping!

Amazon shopping for stuff from Asian markets is my favorite passtime. Those Asians know their shit when it comes to superfucking kawaii fashion. Proof:

<-- The mouth, like, zips open and shut. okay??? Inventive and CUTE.

Thrift store shopping is also super rad, BUT even though everything is like 99 cents it's easy to spend a fortune.

I absolutely hate mall shopping because sizes are confusing and stores are confusing and it feels like people are always staring at me. AND you can bet your butt that I won't be able to find a single flannel shirt while it's 90+ degrees outside. I hate that everything has to fluctuate through the year. Cuz maybe I wanna buy a pair of micro shorts or a bikini in the dead of winter.

Addiction for me... Even if something is tight and I get frustrated, more incentive. I literally have weight numbers to every article of clothing in my closet. Can't wear that till I'm down 3 more pounds...., that is when I'm done 5 more..." Etc etc. everything is mentally labelled in my closet. I have so many clothes I try on over and over, it's weird but addicting.

Any time I have any inclination to go shopping is alone with all the time I need,

Even then I maybe just try on a few pants, sob and go home.

Plus all the people.

If there is too many people, forget it.

ugh shopping...

Honestly...love it.
I only go clothes shopping when I'm having a good body image day. If I'm bloated or feel like shit about myself I won't bother. But when I feel okay, I really enjoy it. I like clothes a lot.

I love to shop! I mostly thrift or online shop. But I hate shopping for clothing at the mall because it is so hard to find anything that fits and if it fits it is so expensive. It's stressful if I'm with other people and they ask why I didn't buy anything that I tried on. Online shopping is a bit of an addiction but having nice clothing makes me feel so much better about myself when I don't want to even get out of bed some days. Unless i'm having a bad body image day, then I have my loose baggy clothing I can hide in haha. All my clothes are mentally sorted into skinny nice clothes, fat day/hide weightloss clothes, and goal clothing.

But I do not mind shopping for shoes and accessories with other people. Just clothing is a nope.

Depends on the day. Occasionally I'll drop 2lbs overnight and I feel so little, and like everything looks amazing when I try it on. Next day I'll hate my body and take it all back :/
This^^^^ I only go shopping when I am feeling somewhat ok about my body (i.e. when I am on a fast or have lost a few pounds). I sware the mirrors at clothing stores are distorted, because I bring the clothes back and in my mirror I feel like I look morbidly obese.

I love online shopping. I do get a little anxiety from worrying if I got the right sizes, but it's easy enough to send things back. I really don't like shopping in stores, I get really self conscious.
Totally this. Amazon is internet heaven to me. I absolutely hate shopping in stores of any kind. All those people, and nothing fits anyway, unless it says Hello Kitty or has some anime shit on it - and then it's too short. Grocery stores are worse. If I could order everything online, I so would.

I only shop on the internet unless I'm thrifting and looking for vintage clothes. I never really have an issue with sizing. I hate clothes shopping at actual stores that aren't thrift stores. The possibility of finding a rare gem at a thrift shop overrides my anxiety for me but other than that I get everything online. I do love online shopping, though. I only shop for clothes period if I'm losing weight. Otherwise I can't handle it at all.
