Serving Size / Servings Per Container

Has anyone else experienced the phenomena where the serving size is too big/small to match the servings per container?

I have seen this happening a lot with canned veggies or steamed veggie bags. It will say

"Serving Size 1 cup (about 3/4 cup prepared); servings per container: 4"

So I go ahead and prepare it, and portion it out...even count it to the gram amount specified by the container....and there's only 2 legit servings at that volume/weight!

I think the manufacturers are screwing with me. I have been going by weight, because I figured the weight is the be all, end all....but I swear the fact that a 4 serving container actually only has 2 servings in it is freaking me out!!
