I guess most people know this already but this feels like such a revelation to me that I need to tell someone who won't call me crazy. I've been doing some meal planning and was looking at what I can add for protein in my lunches. Usually I have chicken or turkey as it's around 100 calories for 100g, however I came across prawn and was curious about how many calories were in them. Only 66 for 100g and 15g of protein. I don't know why it makes me so happy, but it does. It means I can save a good 40-80 calories a day having shrimp instead.

Yeah... Sorry for the shit post, but I just really had to let someone know.

Ugh- shrimp are the best! I love them. Also clams! You can eat 10 clams for 140 calories (a little more than shrimp- but such a great high-protein way to cure a salt craving!) Lobster isn't too bad either. I think 1 cup is around 140 calories.

If you aren't objected to process stuff you can get this fishy red&white stuff called... Something like seafood mix? Its low cal and cheaper option. Okay. That wasn't so helpful.
Where I shop it's called imitation crab. I call it frab, and I love it! I chop it it up and mix it with some chopped celery and a bit of fat free sour cream or plain greek yogurt and it makes a really yummy crab (or frab) salad. The celery bulks it up without adding much in the way of calories.
