my mother just forces me to drink orange juice and eat high fibre foods 😭 it never works and I stay constipated for weeks

 

same I tried eating foods that were high in fibre but it didn't help me like even slightly </3

 

it's unfortunate that your mother cares so much for you that she went out to get you meds to fix your pain, yet it was taken advantage of.

your mother loves you. you shouldn't lie to the people you love and/or take advantage of it. just some advice.

 

Hey idk if this was your intention, but this is pretty rude💀

You act as if they chose to have this disorder and actually WANT to abuse/have to use lax. As another ED’d person, you should understand how this disorder takes control of a person, how it makes you do things you don’t always want to or that aren’t always the ‘best’ choices or decisions. Not to mention, this is supposed to be a safe and judgement free space for people to open up about stuff like this.

 

As someone who did this exact thing and has been a lax abuser for 8 years since: there is nothing celebratory about this. It’s made my life hell and is so hard to quit. The fluid issues when I try to stop, leading me to now abuse diuretics, the way my quality of life consists of shitting and laying in bed. Stop while you can, if you aren’t already an abuser. So no, “life isn’t amazing” with lax.

 

lax won’t make you lose weight if you’re taking it for that. water weight isn’t fat!

if you’re constipated, be cautious. don’t take it too often or you’ll get reliant on it which you do NOT want

honestly lax are an avoid for the most part for losing weight effectively…just when the constipation is really bad. you’ll see lbs come off but it’ll just come right back on !
