I really hate when people eat my food

My family generally eats pretty unhealthy so I stock up on my own supply of healthy food that nobody else really touches. However we ran out of microwave meals, so my family have been invading my food hoard. It's not technically MY food, as I didn't buy it so I can't tell them not to eat it but it bothers me so much. My brother just ate 6 pieces of my whole wheat bread and now I have none left. Why does he need 6 slices of toast?? He doesn't even like whole wheat, and now I'm all out of my only safe food left in the house. He didn't even eat all of it, he made extra that he doesn't want and now it's wasted. I don't know why it makes me so irritated. I guess it feels like my space is being invaded. Does anyone else get unreasonably upset when people touch their food?

I relate to this so much. I get so sour when my dad tosses out the food I put in the microwave just for a hour or two, yesterday he threw out my apple that I’d only eaten half of when I didn’t ask him to be cause it was “too brown” but it was literally FRESH! Like what the actual heck. Also, my 4 slices of 45 calorie bread was given to my uncle, literally get your own bread you bum.

Honestly I get annoyed when my food is moved in the fridge aha
It blows my mind when other people eat my stuff (although thankfully doesn't happen much to me because I keep my food hidden in my bedroom mostly) or throw it out.
I remember it happened back when I was at uni and not restricting (but struggling with BED), I'd buy sweet treats and my flatmates would just take them if they felt like it, and then never own up to it. I did have one flatmate who occasionally ate my food but I liked her so much I didn't mind as much and she always apologised. She ate two of my string cheeses once and I ended up feigning not even noticing because I felt like she was expecting me to be mad when she fessed up and I didn't want that to be how people viewed me.

i got mad for you…. so yeah i feel you. it makes me irrationally upset as well. and when they move my shit around in the fridge. i like being alone and completely unbothered, so if someone invades even a tiny bit of my space/items/routine i want to explode, even if it’s something so small. i want to live alone so bad sighhhh

Seeeee this is the stuff that will make me lose my everloving shitttt lmao — I live alone so it’s not a current problem, but has been in the past with roommates plus my partner and I are planning on moving in together soon. Idk if you can be like hey I was saving that, or just try to set boundaries in general but I feeeel this

i get irrationally angry when they take my food 1. without asking if they can have it (bc yes. i will know. i deadass have a built in memory of all the food i currently have) 2. they don't even finish it omglkfnkjdfn

like seeing food that i bought for myself just half eaten in the garbage makes me mad lol.

fuck yes and I get so mad at myself because shouldn’t I be happy some food is being consumed for me? less calories? that must make me a fake and hypocrite, right? I guess it has to do with needing control over everything I eat and if I measure something up to a certain amount, that’s what I’ve prepared myself to eat

Of course I get angry when they eat my food, especially if I bought it. But all it takes is anybody merely TOUCHING my food to send me into sheer panic. My brain starts to assume nonsense like they somehow transfered a bunch of grease and shit to my (once) safe food through their probably-not-clean fingers 🙄👌
