Is it weird/bad that I can feel my heart beat in my chest? This just happened and now it stopped and I don't know if I should say something to my parents. I've been getting dizzy a lot lately when i stand up and I've been so tired also which they know about.

I think it could be a heart palpitation I've had them before and they are scary but they come and go so I would suggest lying down and relaxing. half of the reason you could be feeling it so intensely might be because you panicking. If you get more than 4 palpitations in a day I would tell your parents, better safe than sorry.

It's happened to me too. Also when it shouldn't have, like when I was lying down in my bed trying to sleep, for no damn reason whatsoever. I tried telling my dad about it - he's a doctor - but he didn't say much. Barely anything, actually. So I really don't know what it could be.

You definitely want to get this checked out. Check your heart rate and see how fast/slow it is. If you don't know how to do it, just Google it. If your heart beat is abnormal, go to a doctor. It might be nothing, but you'll regret it if it turns out to be something.

OMG! Don't dr. parents suck. My siblings an I always compare notes on having are medical needs ignored. I had Zika earlier this year witch comes with a lot of muscle and joint pain, headaches, pink eye and a rash. After three days of intense almost debilitating pain I got the rash. That's when she said (no joke) "wow, you really are sick"

http://www.healthline.com/symptom/palpitations You should check this out, especially if you're feeling dizzy. Click on 'Read more'. All the best!
This is a good source but I wanted to add one of the causes: intercostal muscle spasms. The muscles between my ribs (and elsewhere) spasm sometimes and this can cause a fluttering sensation near the heart depending on where it happens. That's what my doc explained to me, anyway.

If you've been restricting a lot lately, make sure you're getting a reasonable amount of potassium, magnesium, sodium, and calcium. Use supplements if you have to.

I can see my heart beating in my chest all the time. I just lift up my shirt and breathe in and I can see it plain as day. You don't need to worry b/c you're doing exactly what anorexics are supposed to do, Lose weight until there's no more to lose. Being able to feel your heart beat is nothing to worry about. You must be new to this.

Your body does amazing stuff and it's cool to be able to see it happen. I can feel my intestinal tract when I feel my abdomen. It's hard as a rock. Eeeewww!

I'm not new to this. I've been anorexic for like 6-7 years now. I think it's happened before but I've just never paid any attention to it

Definitely get it checked out just in case. It's much better to be told by a doctor that your okay rather than assuming it yourself :) take it easy keep hydrated and let your parents know, stay safe xx
