During the week, I'm fairly good with restricting and not eating. But over the weekends, I have so much trouble with binging. :( How do you stop yourself from binging over the weekends?

i find the weekends easier actually. i take it as an opportunity to skip meals without anyone around to ask me whether i've eaten. i basically avoid the kitchen and nap or keep busy. my favourite weekends are when i fast the whole time and wake up on Monday with a two pound loss :)

Increase your food intake during the week, and you will notice that you binge less on weekends.

If I drop my calorie intake low to 1500 or less, I binge. If I increase it to 1800 a day, I don't binge. Like someone said to me on another forum, it's not rocket science. I just feel like the weight loss is too slow :(

rid your house of any potential binge foods, and don't buy them. if you think you might be tempted, don't even go into the shop which sells whatever it is, if you can help it. if it's not there you can't eat it.

also.. upping your intake slightly during the week might get rid of any binge urges / compensating at the weekend. though I know it's easier said than done.. in that predicament at the moment..

Oh yes, I thought I just did that over the last couple days (that include me binging on dry mashed potato mix of which we had 2 big packages of). I felt so relieved now that it's all gone, because it really is out of sight out of mind for me.

Then around an hour ago I checked the cupboard for more food I could throw out because of the expiration date, and I found 2 more small packages of the potato mix. I am freaking out now - they're also technically my old roommates who said she would still pick some stuff up (but I'm pretty certain she won't, it's been some time) and they are still sealed. I do either just want to binge on them or throw them out - I can't deal with that shit in my kitchen :(
