I'm currently taking fluoxetine (prozac) and it's meant to stop binge eating but it's made me 10x worse!!!
I've had about 2500 calories today when I usually eat around 650.
CAN ANYONE HELP?
I'LL WELCOME ANY NEGATIVE COMMENTS ABOUT ME, JUST TRY ANYTHING TO STOP ME?
I HATE binging, I hate myself for it, I just want to stop but I'm out of control

Hmm i have the same problem, once i start i can't stop *Sigh*

This is what i try, sometimes it works, sometimes there is no holding back the binge monster.

Pre Binge

1. Distract myself

Go for a Walk, watch a movie, scroll MPA, colouring, shopping, meet a friend

2. Fill my stomach

Drink Water, Diet coke, Cuppa Tea

3. Still urgy? What am i craving??

Have a slice of what i crave.

then have another cuppa tea and see if it subsides.

wait the bugger out. Once it hits evening i am then generally in the clear.

After the Binge

1. Wait it out

Have a cuppa tea in a room with no food around

2.Assess the damage/Damage control

What have you eaten so far? Face the demon! (DONT COUNT THE CALORIES) just rationalise it, so 3 cookies, thats a friday night treat snack fine ok. Bowl of pasta, that like a lunch, just some carbs, Cereal bars..awesome thats protein?

So talk it out and try and rationalize what you have eaten.

3. Distract yourself.

I watch a movie with a can of diet coke

(i need the coke, else i would start binging mode again as once i have binged i feel i have ruined the day already so i would keep at it all day long haha)
