For some reason stories like the Pokey Little Puppy (who dawdled and had to go to bed hungry with no strawberry ice cream) really make me sad.
Also, there was a children's book called "Feelings" by Aliki. It had cartoons explaining a bunch of emotions. Generally quite helpful.. but The one for "greedy" had a chubby little girl named Susan going back for a second piece of cake, and another little kid said "Susan is so greedy."
If I think too much about these situations I'll cry.
Similarly with Pooh and how he got stuck in Rabbit's house because he ate too much honey...
I get super emotional seeing starved animals too.
