I started smoking to suppress my appetite and it'll work just long enough to get you addicted and then will do nothing. It will definitely not be worth migraines!

From someone who started smoking because it was an appetite suppressant, DONT. It's definitely the worst habit I've ever given myself. I've "quit" more times than I can count and there are days where I have horrible cravings.

On top of this, I do have lung problems from other medical nonsense that I won't bore you with. But please please PLEASE don't start smoking. It'll either kill you or you'll never be able to be around people who smoke without getting a ravenous craving.

Yes even though nicotine lozenges do work for me to stop me from eating it's purely the distraction aspect that works. If you're a boredom eater try to find something more healthy to distract you because it's not worth the drainage of money and health.

Don't start.
It might suppress your appetite a little. But not enough to be worth it. And then if you try to stop, you'll be more likely to overeat just from the stress of quitting.

Expensive. Really expensive habit. Addicting. Highly addicting.
Don't start, ever. It only makes your bank account slimmer lol.

Lol
Bruh I feel so hungry all the time and the guilt won't let me eat
I also happen to smoke cigs because I am a shitbird
They cut my appetite but only for a few minutes, they don't cure hunger pains.
They're hard to fucking quit.
Don't start. Seriously. It's not worth it.

I don't and never smoked conventional cigarettes. I do vape (non-nicotine) and love the flavours. Don't smoke combustible cigarettes because the nicotine will hook you and doesn't agree with you. Go to a vape shop and try a non-nicotine vape with loads of flavour.

Smoking cigarettes actually made me eat more. I primed my brain into wanting a reward every 10 minutes - nicotine is like a little pleasure rush to your brain, much like the effects of glucose.

When my boyfriend and i moved in together i ditched cigarettes & vape completely and have steadily been losing weight/maintaining 2 BMI points lower ever since.
Which is great but annoying because i started smoking for the same reason you want to, i thought it would make me skinnier, but all i did was gain when i was a nicotine addict.
