Are there any other websites out there like this?

I know if this one obviously, and SHP that was originally a subreddit, turned into a forum, just wondering if anyone else uses any other websites like these? Ones where you are genuinely left alone, as much as I understand why I'm so sick of forums changing so much, I crave my safety blanket so badly lolllll

i was wondering the same and just tried to make a my pancake addiction account but i don’t like it. you have to make 15 forum posts to do/view certain things and 50 forum posts and 12hours logged in time to view other certain things. idk i just think this one is way better

This seems to be the only real surviving one.
Well there is Project Shapeshift, now having their 20 year anniversary . Ana's Underground Grotto is also from 2001, but it is now kept indoors at Project Shapeshift. Then there is Fading Obsession (launched in 2003 if I remember correctly - it was something else for a while, but now the founder has restarted it with the 2003 content plus new stuff and of corse the forum. These three sites are rather small. But friendly and in a positive way old school.

mypancakeaddiction has popularity, it's just annoying to get access to everything.

eatingdisordercentral is also starting to pick up a lot, and is honestly my first choice.

there's some underground ones like myfadingobsessions, they just don't have a ton of activity (url is my.fadingobessions.com since it's odd for a URL in comparison)

The URL to the site itself is https://fadingobsessions.com . By adding the my. before fading obsessions.com takes you directly to the forum
As you say, that site, just like Project Shapeshift, has a limited number of posts per day. The latter has an age limit, fading obsessions has not, but the majority of the members at both sites are older than the average at other sites. If you joined in 2001 and 2004, respectively, you have seen most of the topics discussed many times, so you may not post as frequently.
Also - My Fading Obsessions was launched in 2004, but the forum made a new start in the beginning of this year. So it is one of the oldest sites, but at the same time a new site, still growing. Some join the mentioned sites for nostalgic reasons, others because they like that kind of pages - a little more old school. They might not be huge, at least for the moment, but friendly, open minded and interesting. Personally I am a member of them, plus this site and MyPancakeAddiction and I am trying to get back in at EDC (for some reason I can't get in at the moment). I think all the sites has something unique :)

Yeah, I personally had some bad experiences on some of the older forums, and I had a feeling they were the same but didn't do enough digging lol. Then again, I had an endangering experience on pancakes so I guess it's just a common factor for me lol.
As for EDC, I think if you message Goddess Annea she can help you get back into your account! She's really good about it, I've seen multiple topics on EDC of members making a new account to ask her to help get them back into their accounts and they're usually in within the day.

Thank you for the tip.
I have gotten a new password right after having posted the above
Silly of me, not to have renewed the membership earlier. I think EDC is a really nice site!
