Literally walking back to my dorm with food I bought LOL but I was curious how many of you are university students and if so, what year and what are you studying? I’m a junior and a journalism major!

With my uni it's the norm for people with eating disorders to study nutrition. My IP and god awful experiences has paid off by giving me a nuanced perspective, so my professors are keen to have me as a student rather than scolding me like everyone else. I started back in 2020 and have moved to part-time due to work and medical issues. I flunked some exams last year as I feared I wasn't in the right headspace to start dietetics. Boy did that piss off the head of school. I have thoroughly enjoyed the support of my university though as I already got a job in food product development.

Not anymore, just submitted my MA thesis last week! 🥳 Has honestly been the most difficult year of my life (health issues, ED, relationship breakdown, plus MA stress). I'm in museums/heritage and work full time in this field

Also studying music. Currently in my first year of doctoral studies and the workload is BRUTAL. I'm trying to cut back on the b/p for so many reasons but oh my god it's hard. I live alone which is both good and bad.

I like how people here are talking about adapting to university life, balancing studies, social life, and figuring out the future is a challenge but also a growth moment. If at any point you’re preparing for certification exams or professional hurdles, you might want to try a f80 practice test, a low-stress way to get familiar with question types and see where you stand.

I'm still technically a freshman bc I had to drop out and go to treatment last year and started late, but I'm planning on getting a master's in psychology bc I really want to go into either dementia research or work with complex patients (assuming I'm somehow well)

I am a sophomore and a cognitive science major! i do want to try to never bp in my student apartment tho bc even though I have my own bathroom and room I know it’s going to be so hard to balance bp-ing and studying. So far I’ve been going strong but the urges never go away

I just started my seventh year. I graduated with my bachelor's in German language in 2023 (took me 4 years) and started my master's programme in multilingual communications and translatology that same year. We don't have dorms here, but student housing which offers lower rent prices for students. I live in an apartment all by myself (with a snake, but he's oblivious to the world around him, bless his little soul), and that paired with bulimia is quite dangerous tbh. I'm dirt poor so I mostly b/p on boring foods like pasta. Whenever I get extra money I blow it all on alcohol and binge food, ugh.
