I wanna know your honest opinions of the rain room scene in the movie To The Bone ? I personally love it is by far my favorite scene in the movie . It is so aesthetic and the quote that Keanu says ”someone tell me why were here ? Because we‘re alive “ suits the scene well as I think the rain symbolizes life being beautiful. So anyways tell me your thoughts below please !

I thought the scene was a little too much (cheesy so to speak), BUT it WAS very well done and very aesthetically pleasing. I actually looked up that exhibit they went to. Would love to visit and "dance in the rain" some time.

That scene always felt so weird and random. It kinda feels like the producers found a cool location and just tried to shoehorn it into the movie. I don't hate it it's just a weird clash with everything else.
Actually I do hate how hard that scene in particular tries to be deep and artistic and inspirational, sorry...

Yeah this is exactly what I’ve always thought, it’s too forced

Okay, I always feel like I’m trippin but does it seem like they’re not actually getting wet???? Every time I’ve watched it it doesn’t look like anyone has wet hair or their shirts aren’t becoming see through and heavy. Idk man, it’s fishy. Other than that I like it, except for the dance that Luke does. I cringe everytime and feel bad about that but here we are.

I really liked the scene, but the whole movie is just sort of a big moment of nostalgia for me. The only scene I really couldn’t stand was the bottle feeding scene, that part I can barely watch it’s too cringey for me. But I loved this scene and this song.

came up with a contemp choreo to that song a few years back hahahaha, and recently danced it in the rain. idk about the movie in general but that scene is kind of magic

I felt like it was cringey and obvious, but it was admittedly beautifully shot and aesthetically pleasing. Just in the context of the story, it kinda seemed like the producers went "where is the inspiration porn moment" and the writers threw it in. Eli said it best afterwards, "I know what you're trying to do: life is beautiful and all that crap." A little too on the nose for me.
