I just watched Troian Bellisario's new movie Feed, and I was wondering what everyone thought of it.

I thought it was kinda weird, but definately one of my favorite ED movies by far.

While yeah, it was weird, I honestly loved it.

It kinda showed how sometimes you're not aware that you have an eating disorder. And I liked the build up instead of going right into it. And I liked the treatment scenes as well. Sometimes I get bored just watching a regular ED movie, but this one was fun to watch and psychological. I didn't feel like I was watching a lifetime movie (no offense, lifetime), I felt like I was watching something interesting and well thought out. I was entertained and pleased with it.

I gave my full review for it on another thread. This film was good but I just have a really hard time watching any type of ed movie, as I find them ridiculous and extremely cringe worthy. It's a decent movie but it has major flaws, as a lot of indie movies do.

But why was the actor who played her twin brother literally 45?? And why didn't they look anything remotely alike or have any sort of relationship/friendship other than a slightly incestual vibe?

Other than that I liked it a LOT! Just couldn't STAND that dude.

I was so impressed with this movie. I love how Troian made the negative voice of her ed the focal point of the film by having that voice be her dead brother. I feel like so many ed films miss the mark with showing what it's like to actually live with an eating disorder in your brain and troian did this perfectly.
