And how much do you weigh, and how tall are you?
That is how it would work in theory. But there are other factors to consider, like metabolism and exercise. The weight loss would be medium-fast at first, and then it would drastically slow down when you get closer to your goal. I've thought about doing it that way, but I'm not patient enough, lol.am I right in thinking if we eat the amount calculated to maintain the weight we want to be at we'd slowly lose till we're at that weight and then it would be maintained?
for example at 5'7 and 125 my BMR would be 1440, so in theory if I eat 1440 I'd eventually hit 125lb... though I feel like I've been eating less than that for long enough and yet I haven't reached that goal??
I think I am going to start to do this.am I right in thinking if we eat the amount calculated to maintain the weight we want to be at we'd slowly lose till we're at that weight and then it would be maintained?

Yuppp. I wish someone would just give me the magic numberI am 5'8 123 lbs and still losing at 1400. I have thoughts of maintaining and would like to up my calories but too scared
why did u necro bumpI think I am going to start to do this.
Because I want to see what people are maintaining onwhy did u necro bump
I've got similar stats, I want to try to up my intake but I am so fricking scared of the initial gain5'6, 105 lbs and 1750-2500 calories. Upping your intake slowly does wonders for your metabolism.
