Hey everyone!

Basically I'm in the brain foggy, can't focus, tripping and clumsy stage of my 3 day fast and was wondering what is a low cal low volume thing I can eat or do to feel a bit better? If you guys have any things that help I'd love to know xx

sweet potato fills me up sooo much. i eat just a little and i'm full for hours, plus healthy! or cut up an apple and sprinkle cinnamon on top and microwave for a minute or 2 and its like a dessert but apples tend to fill me up too.

not sure if you're in US but this brand of popcorn called Boom Chicka Pop is amazing and theres several flavors . I get mine at Target or Kroger...not sure where else they sell. its like 25-35 calories a cup.

also sometimes i'll make the jello sugar free pudding with skim milk and it feels like i'm eating something decadent but its low cal.

if you're craving savory you can get deli meat and eat it with pickles and mustard? sounds a little gross but yeah thats my go to for protein/salty snack that fills me up and gives me energy.

Sounds like your brain needs fat (fat is not inherently bad, your body needs some). Try almonds?

i don't know if you would consider this low volume, but eat lettuce greens. ridiculously low calorie but high in nutrients. sprouted beans and sees, like alfalfa sprouts: again, high nutrition, low calorie, low volume. if you're experiencing brain fog, really your body needs nutrients first, at least in my experience.

Spinach and carrots with 1tbsp hummus on top. it's basically a small salad and you'll get lots of nutrients, some protein, and a little bit of fat for around 75 calories. I usually add 2 cups of spinach and a handful of baby carrots and it keeps me full too, but not like gross full

A hardboiled egg is 72 calories and low volume, and seriously eat the yolk. The fat and other nutrients in the yolk will seriously help clear your head and help your brain function better.

what I do is get the leaves from a huge head of romaine and lightly spread some hummus on top, and then roll them into a wrap. hummus is usually 70 cals for 2 tbsp, and a huge ass romaine leaf is only 2 cals! literally eating this right now lmao

your brain runs on glucose only. so anything that will up your blood sugar. i suggest a potato or sweet potato as that will give you steady long term stable blood sugar levels. orange juice would get it up quickly and then you will know that its blood sugar doing this to you.
