EXO Xiumin Diet 2
EXO's Xiumin's second diet is known as the "4-four" method or the "4-hour empty stomach diet".
When he introduced his own diet method he said, "The easiest way to lose weight is to restrict oneself from eating, but it might possibly cause health-related problems."
The diet:
"Walk for an hour in the morning after waking up.
Then eat breakfast. You can enjoy any kinds of food, but remember to make sure you don't feel full. Eat the right portion of food.
Then for 4 hours, don't eat anything. And go ahead with lunch. You can skip it if you desire.
Restrain yourself from eating for another 4 hours.
Then it would be around dinner time. You can have dinner or simply skip it.
But make sure to keep your stomach empty for 4 hours prior to sleeping."
"If you head with this diet program for a month, you would not gain weight. Actually, you must have lost weight to a certain extent."
"However, don't let yourself think 'one day must be fine'. One cheating day makes the next day and the day after next very challenging to a degree that it would eventually make you stop this program. Because it isn't easy to get back to the routine again, patience is very much needed."
"The most important thing is diligence. You have to wake up earlier to work out. The second thing is patience. You shouldn't pause in between, it's hard to start up again."
That's why Xiumin says in order to succeed you need to keep a positive mind set, be diligent and have patience.
The best thing about this diet is fasted cardio, which is done when you walk first thing in the morning without eating anything. Fasted cardio is an excellent way to lose weight. By exercising on an empty stomach, your body pulls from energy stored up in the form of fat, which means that you burn fat quicker. People who do fasted cardio are also shown to burn more calories during the day, leading to rapid weight loss.
Xiumin said that it took him about a month to see results, and after that, the weight dropped off easily. He has been maintaining his low weight since beginning the diet. Using this diet and exercise plan, Xiumin lost 8 kg/ 18lbs.
Diet Template:
Walk for one hour after waking up.
Eat breakfast. This can be anything, but only eat until you are 75%-80% satiated.
No eating for 4 hours.
Eat lunch (can be skipped). This can be anything, but again, don't eat until you are stuffed.
No eating for 4 hours.
Eat dinner (can be skipped). Again, stop before you feel full.
No eating for 4 hours before sleeping.
Note: Keep in mind that Xiumin probably had dance practice and did other workouts while also doing this diet.
