I've heard of that before, it can be caused by stress also. It's considered normal if it doesn't happen like every month or so. My period's also messing up with me badly, sometimes there's just no period or then they start like two weeks after I already got my period.

 

I hate having a period. It's gross and yucky and personally I can't wait until mine goes away

Oh man, idk what causes this but I've had mine before for a solid 9 weeks. I'd love to know why that happens sometimes. Following.

You should probably see a doctor if you are spotting that long for no apparent reason. i know you probably don't want to, but spotting between periods can be a sign of certain conditions. i am saying this because i had bizarre midcycle bleeding and called student health to see what they would say. They asked me to come in immediately and long story short, i eventually got diagnosed with endometriosis. i probably never would have found out i had it (and never would have had treatment) if i hadn't had the bleeding checked out by a doctor.

They didn't make a big deal about my weight, by the way.
