How to stop stomach from growling?

So this has always been my biggest issue with restriction and school; it's mortifying when there's a silent period in class and then all of the sudden a huge growl sounds from my stomach. Water helps for about two minutes and then the sounds persist- it's terrible!

Do any of you guys have tips for a growling stomach? I feel like I have to eat every five minutes to stop the growling! Agh!

I've heard some people say taking tums works- anyone tried it??

I have the exact same problem as you, my stomach growls so much it's actually ridiculous wtf. I could eat a breakfast, albeit a light one, and still have my stomach growl an hour later. Sometimes I don't even feel that hungry, but my stomach insists on sounding like a moaning bear. =.=

Anyways, my tip, though I don't know if it'll work for everyone, is to drink a carbonated drink instead of just water. For example, coke zero or sprite zero and all those other zero/low calorie carbonated drinks. Sip it as the class goes on and it should settle the growling.

If you're not a fan of carbonated drinks, you could make some hot drinks like tea or whatever other choices, and sip that through class too. Hot drinks really help your tummy to quiet down! It's quite convenient, as long as you have a vacuum flask.

Those are what has worked for me, personally. Hope that helped! :)

I sip water throughout the day rather than take huge gulps to avoid my stomach going from "extremely full" to "extremely empty" which causes my stomach to growl like mad. And honestly, fasting until dinner helps tremendously because now my body is just used to it and rarely ever growls even without water.

If its really bad and I'm class during a test or something I usually suck in my stomach as far as I can when I feel about it about to happen and then it kind of muffles it enough that it can't be heard.

My stomach doesn't growl anymore . It's used to being empty . It knows it's not getting any food and hasn't been for years lmao

Try drinking hot tea with Splenda though OP, that used to help me
