how to fake eat in front of parents?

Yesterday I “accidentally” dropped food into my napkin at dinner and my parents saw me doing it. Today I spit food into my napkin and my parents also caught me doing that. Are there any other ways that I can pretend to eat without my parents getting more suspicious? They know about my “food issues” so if I act the slightest bit abnormal during any of my meals or snacks they freak out.

best if you just dont, youll get yourself into hot water if they see that you're still trying to hide food, aint worth it
theyll become more strict and they will trust you less

as someone said here, make the food your OMAD, or just eat nibbles of snacks when they're around, so they get less suspicious

When I lived with my parents I had a TV in my room, I usually said that I wanted to watch a TV-show while eating. Then I had plastic bags in my room where I threw the food in (morally awful ik). When an opportunity opened up I threw the full plastic bag in the garbage.

There is no way a grown adult isn't going to notice you randomly placing food in weird places and not actually eating. You've already been caught twice, you're going to have to accept you're doing a bad of of hiding it already 😂. The more you try to hide it the more suspect they'll be of you

But, you could also try to put it in your bra (??!!!) as an above commentor suggested then fast track your way to hospital as that is an absolute batshit insane thing to attempt and not at all subtle. (Don't put food in your bra, folks...)

If they are there with you and they don't look elsewhere when you're eating, if they don't go to another room then you don't have any chance to fake eating, sorry.
Maybe just choose those items you find you can eat, e.g. veggies if they are without sauce and oil, fruit, boiled eggs are low calorie, etc.

It’s not worth trying to fake it. I would just eat it, and try to think of it a nutritious instead of something to avoid. I’m an adult now, so I don’t have to fake it but back in the day being 14/15 and eating family dinners together was stressful, so I totally get where you’re coming from.
Of course I don’t want to encourage any bad behaviours but you could try to just “save” your calories for supper and eat totally normal. Satisfying your hunger once a day completely also feels good. Keeps you sane if you know what I mean haha
