I always think about this and it makes me really happy but sad at the same time. Sometimes I even log the days in mfp just to see what it would be. What would a full day of eating look like for you if you didn't have an eating disorder? An example of mine would be:

Breakfast - bagel with biscoff spread and banana, and a homemade smoothie

Lunch - wrap made with 'chicken' (i'm veggie), lettuce, cucumber, some sort of sauce, maybe bbq? with chilli heatwave doritos and a bowl of raspberries and mango

Snack - snickers bar

Dinner - 'burger' with lettuce, tomato and ketchup with a side of potato wedges and either a side salad or just some broccoli

Snack - B&J cookie dough ice cream and strawberries

Share as many as you'd like, I could honestly do so many of these haha it actually does motivate me to recover, and I will one day, just not yet :(

Breakfast- Cheese melted on toast with scarmbled eggs on the side/ on the toast

Lunch- Oatmeal or a spinach ricotta pastry

Dinner- Some sort of protein with either potato salad or pan fried veggies on the side

Snacks- Chocolate, apples/bananas, nutella, and probs some miso soup (low cal but I just really like miso)

breakfast: banana, strawberry, blueberry & nutella smoothie, eggo waffles, maybe scrambled eggs with chipotle sauce!!

snack: apple slices with pb

lunch: spicy chicken wings with bufalo sauce and a side of delis ceasar salad

snack: a chocobar or gummy bears!

dinner: my special spicy cream tomato pasta sauce with bow tie pasta and maybe more ceasar salad if i feel like it

midnight snack.... the rest of my chocolate or, and, gummy bears.

this makes me so sad and happy at the same time. uhhhhhhhhh and like nostalgic

breakfast: oatmeal with peanut butter, honey, blueberries, and banana. also cofffeeeee

snack: twizzlers

lunch: a big tasty meal from mac. with fried and a regular coke, not diet lol

dinner: 2 sunny side up eggs bc lets pretend i wassnt too hungry, maybe

snack: blueberries with nutella!!!!!!!!!

Breakfast: breakfast sandwich and huge glass of orange juice

Snack: caramel porpcorn or potato chips

Lunch: indian or middle easter food with naan bread

Dinner: mcdonalds

breakfast: a croissant, some cantalope, and my iced coffee

lunch: yogurt and cucumber cold soup (actually a safe food lol) and a cheese quesadilla with bacon bits

snack: takis with lemon (bc why not?????)

dinner: fried fish with tart sauce, mixed salad with ranch and bacon bits, and mashed potatoes with the bacon´s gravy

break fast: toast with butter, sugar and cinnamon, a banana and my iced coffee!

snack: apples with nutella

lunch: pizzaaaaaaaaaaa and potato salad

dinner: more potato salad but this time with a chicken patty

then also some chocolate cake becuase lets say it was someone´s birthdayyy

i love thisssss

this is so hard bcz idk what i even like to eat now

breakfast: oatmeal with brown sugar, hot chocolate, fruit

or alternative: homemade cinnamon rolls <3 n fruit

snack: some fruit or chips, or maybe even like cinnamon sugar toast

lunch: my grandmas spaghetti sauce and some of one of my fav noodles, BREADDD fuck i wish i could just enjoy breadsticks or garlic bread

dinner: out to eat at one of my favorite restaurants like olive garden and order whateverrrr i want >:)

dessert: homemade macarons or some local icecream or smth n fruit (i love fruit sm)

snack: leftover breadsticks or smth :))

I like this idea

Breakfast - Cereal with milk (I like honey monster cereal or Jordan's country crisp but I haven't had it in a long time)

Lunch - It's been so long since I've had both breakfast and lunch I genuinely can't think of what I would eat after having cereal for breakfast.

Tea - a homemade meal from my mum, preferably pasta or something for sure like ravioli!

Desert - GOD DESERT! I don't even know also maybe some mochi?? I used to love mochi.

Alternative

Breakfast - Quaker oats golden syrup porridge!

Lunch - I still don't know

Tea - takeaway with my family

Desert - something baked by my mum sorry that's uncreative but she bakes a lot and I don't eat it anymore but it was good

Breakfast: pancakes with a tonnnnn of maple syrup, oat milk

snack: a bowl of cereal

lunch: eveggie wrap, fruits, and juice

snack: granola bar and muffin

dinner: pizza, garlic bread, and brownies as dessert

snack: icecream

Breakfast: chocolate chip pancakes, eggs, sausage, syrup, and a huge glass of milk

Lunch: PB & Jelly / ham and cheese sandwich , potato chips , and apple juice

Snack: some more potato chips, maybe even some kind of candy bar :)

Dinner: spaghetti, garlic bread, and another glass of milk <3

Edit: oooh dessert hmm: maybe a ice cream cone from chick fil a? I used to walk there with my siblings.

This is what I used to eat as a kid. Before my ED started :/

Breakfast: Chocolate chip pancakes with lots of syrup, whipped cream, and some freeze dried fruit
Lunch: chicken tenders with fruit juice and steamed veggies on the side
Dinner: spaghetti with Parmesan cheese and buttery garlic bread
Dessert: either a little Debbie's oatmeal cream pie or a Cinnabon cinnamon roll
Snacks: nuts or veggie chips
(The way I felt so guilty about typing this that I added a serving of veggies or fruit to almost everything 🥲)

Breakfast: a big bowl of cereal
Snack: toasted bagel or a piece/2 of toast (if at school)
Lunch: chicken wrap or panini if at school. If I'm at home I'd sometimes have a microwave pasta meal, pot noodle , super noodles or beans on toast
Snack: maybe a choc bar after school or some sweets
Dinner: fajitas , spag Bol, stew
Snack: cereal, bagel with cream cheese , toast , toasted muffins. Just depended on what we had

Breakfast: Eggs, cubed potatoes/home fries, biscuits w honey and butter and maybe a pancake

Lunch: Sushi, not the low cal I usually eat but the really good shit w avocado and some spicy sauce and a lot of it. With ramen soup and vegetables

Dinner: fucking olive garden dude. Massive amounts of vegetable soup and breadsticks, just dipping it in the broth and eating them, as many as I want

Snack: Lots of artichoke dip and pita crackers, a magnum bar, the kinds that are half white chocolate half milk. fuck man

I miss cereal, mainly cocopops, I'd probably have that for breakfast but I used to eat yoghurt with banana and granola when i was healthy.

I also miss my onion bagels and cream cheese for lunch (i just have shitty protein bagel thins now :/) and big sourdough sandwiches with salami :p .

I still eat normal dinners but I'd get Chinese takeaways more often and have actual deserts like ice-cream and cakes.

And I'd eat so much snacks, god I miss crisps.....

Reading all these food fantasies is making me hungry lol. My full day would typically be:

🍳 oatmeal with peanut butter, raisins, maple syrup drizzle or brown sugar. Lots of cinnamon and sometimes an apple.

🥪 typically leftovers or a wrap of some kind. I love the chicken caesar wraps from Boar's Head. My bestfriend and I used to share steak and fries or fettuccine during our lunch break.

🍏🍌🥑 <~ any of these for a snack, sometimes Cheeze Its. I never really snacked often before, though. I like avocado alone or on toast with salt. Apple plain or with Tajin.

🥗🍝 love spaghetti and I truly do love veggies and salads! But my normal salad would have lots of stuff in it. Croutons galore, eggs, bacon pieces, cheese lol. And regular dressing. Dinner was very mixed for me though, it really could be anything. Sushi, Mexican food, chicken tikka. Never cared for fast food bc it makes me hungrier and I'll have more gas than a freshly filled Peterbilt truck.

🍦 almost always eating ice cream after dinner! I used to joke that eating ice cream everyday was my secret to being fit.

I just remembered I used to eat chips and salsa a lot. Or baked taters and salsa. Alright guys, I'm hungry now 🙃

i eat some of this already but jut imagine normal portions lol

breakfast: avo toast / lots of oats / yogurt with granola

lunch: salad / sandwich with bag of chips / acai bowl maybe

snacks: hummus W crackers / granola bar / cookie maybe

dinner: pasta pasta pasta / salad / flatbread pizza / stuff like that

OMG I love this idea!!!

Ah I have so many ideas, there is so much I'd eat!! Here goes...

Breakfast- Homemade summer mango and berry smoothie. I'd also FINALLY try overnight oats, maybe biscoff flavour??

Mid-morning snack- breadsticks and Hummus

Lunch- Avocado toast

Afternoon snack- corn chips and guacamole

Dinner- Ramen noodles and apple crumble for dessert

90% of my ED career has been bulimic but I feel this so much :( I've either been b/ping or restricting like crazy, guilty about everything I manage to keep down. So being able to just enjoy ordinary meals throughout a day has been a distant dream of mine since I was like 13.. This is what I'd eat tomorrow if that was the case :wub:

breakfast: barley porridge (oatmeal would do just fine but I'd prefer barley) with greek yogurt/skyr yogurt/kefir(either of the 3) and honey, lightly sugared green tea(real sugar!!) with some whole fat milk

lunch: 3 egg omelette with onions, cheese, champignon mushrooms, all fried in butter + a big spinach/tomato/chickpea salad with garlic pepper and some sriracha mayo

dinner: a big fast food burger + fries + chicken nuggets!! fucks sake.
(alternative dinner: white fish with roasted seasoned potatoes and fried vegetables. I miss enjoying meals like this as a child so much :( but when it comes to fastfood I barely even allow myself that while b/ping and seriously can't imagine a world where i'd be able to enjoy a mcdonalds meal without the sole intention being to purge it, so that takes the 1st place in my dreams)

supper/evening food: white asparagus soup with cauliflower and bacon

Notable mention: when I smoke weed or hash every now and then, I'd like to enjoy a whole pack of doritos or a plate of cheese tortillas without the ED-anxiety destroying my entire high please and thank u

This is based on what I ate like pre ED as a teenager God I miss it

Breakfast:

2 bread rolls (or 3 toasts) with butter and plum jam on one and cheese and Salami on the other two halves

Snack:

A piece of fruit or a ice cream bar (popsicle? Idk lmao)

Lunch:

Big plate of spaghetti Bolognese or my mom's home made Kassler, potatoes and gravy and buttered green beans

Snack:

A milk bun (brioche roll? Idk) with Nutella and a mug of warm milk

Dinner:

Tomato cucumber and Feta salad with oil and vinegar and bread or bread rolls with butter ham maybe smoked salmon

Evening treat:

A few pieces of chocolate

Sometimes no snacks but instead a 900-1000 cal bag of chips lmao and here I am wondering why I was BMI 25. But yeah I miss it 🥲

breakfast: pesto eggs and buttered toast with bacon

snack: apple with nutella and pb

lunch: dolsot chicken bibimbap with a lot of gochujang!! i love the crispy rice at the bottom

snack: cucumbers with the specific miso sesame paste my mom makes + the fish cakes she makes as well :(

dinner: grilled veggies and homemade pizza!! i want tomato + mozzarella so bad

dessert: the yakgwa cookies from the korean market and banana flavored ice cream
