does anyone else fake their height to get higher bmi at the doctor’s office?

this might sound weird but my posture actually hides my real height (5’ 4”) so the doctors often think i’m 5’3” so i can get a higher bmi and avoid suspicion. just wondering if anyone else does this

Yes. I used to say I was 5’4” for the same reason when I was really 5’6” (I’ve actually shrunk since then and am 5’5” now lol).

i think its normal for height to fluctuate somewhat, some of my doctors have me at 5’9 some up to 5’10.5. so i just have to hope the ones that have me listed at 5’9 are the ones who are caring abt my bmi lol.

I asked them not to weigh me because it sends me into an Ed spiral and makes me lose more weight and they've respected that. However they still strip body check me (in a gown or short dress/clothes) check my vitals and blood every time I go in. My psychiatrist even straight out told me he doesn't give a shit how underweight I am unless I appeared to be in severe danger (I.e- on death’s door) and as long as my health was fine he wouldn't force weigh ins or intervene.
