I normally count them, but when it comes to fasting I don't. Is that cheating?
Also, to make this soup only to drink the broth or to go tf to sleep? 🐖
Do you count drink calories? What about on a fast?
depends on if it is a negligible calorie count so like teas, black coffee or sugar free drink. Anything added is counted, and if it is a substantial calorie count then that becomes a meal for me
I typically dont have liquid cals. But you should always count liquid cals. Theyre still cals after all. 200 cals from a soda is the same as 200 cals of chicken.
caloric drinks are a major fear food for me. I only have soy milk, and just a tiny bit in coffee. Rarely I will have green juice, which doesn't bother me so much. So, I don't really count, no.
Yes, I usually stay away from any drink that isn't herbal tea, black coffee or water. So much unnecessary shit is added to drinks these days and even the zero sugar drinks aren't too good for you, who knows what they put in them to make them sweet. I personally feel safer sticking to those 3 drinks.
Well, I don't count diet sodas, tea, coffee, etc. Things that I know have trace calories, but nothing substantial.
I do count almond milk, hot chocolate, and crystal light lemonade. I didn't used to count crystal light, as it's only 5 calories per 8 ounces. But then I realized how many ounces of it I sometimes drink in a day, so I started counting it. I drink way too much crystal light.
It depends. I don't count the <5 calories in my Diet Coke. However, I will count the calories in my Crystal Light powder packs if I use one. I don't drink regular juice, coffee, etc so that is never a factor though I imagine that I would count them if I did. If I'm drinking alcohol, which is rare, I'm typically not going to count calories for that day.
I don't bother counting black coffee, tea, diet drinks, infused water, or veggie broth. Anything that's less than around 10 calories per cup or so I give my brain a rest and assume that I compensate for the negligible calories by underestimating my activity level.
Diet drinks I don't count because it's a negligible amount, same with tea or black coffee, but if I get Starbucks or a protein shake or juice or whatever else I count it.
On a fast I only have "0" cal drinks so there's no need to count them, but I guess if I were feeling super awful and had to go out but didn't wanna fully stop the fast I'd drink something sugary and small without counting it?
edit: sugary and small as in like.. a 50 cal cup of juice or something
I think 50 is the absolute cutoff if I were fasting, past that I'd say the fast ended and I'd either go back to restricting or restart the fast
