Dizziness when drinking water?

Okay, I've only noticed this recently, but what I swallow water I get really lightheaded for a couple of seconds and then it fades. It's only when I'm swallowing it, and it's only with water. Am I dehydrated, or is this something else? I've tried looking this up, but apparently nobody else on the internet has had this problem, and I can't really go to mum with 'hey mum my I get lightheaded when I swallow water, is this because I am dehydrated or because I'm not eating, or what?'

Does anybody know what this could be? It's not exactly an issue if you don't, it's only a few seconds, and it's not going to cause me to pass out, it's just weird and mildly irritating.

There is a thing called swallow syncope, where the patient unintentionally stimulates the vagus nerve when swallowing, and it leads to a dop in blood pressure. Do you gulp it? It could be that (there is a thing called presyncope which is basically the light-headedness without the faint).

If not, maybe the water is too cold? I imagine that could stimulate the nerve also.
