Well, you're alright with that sort of stuff. Kidney stones either come from meat protein or oxalic acid - which is found in a lot of vegetables, but probably not in that.
Kidney stones are caused by hypercalcemia, which is often caused by not getting enough vitamin K2, vitamin K2 helps keep minerals like calcium in bones and teeth where they should be, not in your tissues and grading stones/deposits all over the place in your body.

Excess protein can cause impaired kidney function, and in severe cases, kidney failure, but it does not cause kidney stones.

Tuna is keto tho

(Casting aside the whole mercury thing.)
Not really, it's high in (pretty much all) protein and is almost 0 fat, that's not ketogenic, ketogenic is high-fat, blotter and extremely low carb.

Butter is ketogenic, coconut oil is ketogenic, tuna and chicken beeast (in their own, i.e. pure protein) is not, Gluconeogenesis will throw you out of ketosis, you'll be primed for burning mostly muscle instead of mostly fat.

Eggs are ketogenic, but ONLY WHOLE EGGS, not whites-only.

I want to lose muscle mass primarily anyway, but I didn't know that... so that's actually pretty good. Would the amount of protein in one tin of tuna really throw me out of ketosis/cause gluconeogenesis if that's all I'm eating per day?

If you're only eating one can of tuna Per day, you're not getting nearly enough calories to healthfully lose weight, as in not become totally catabolic towards your muscle tissue, if you are obese, that's a little different, you have enough fat stores to sustain yourself, but if you are slightly overweight or normal weight and just looking to get leaner, then doing what you were doing is counterproductive, do a ketogenic diet the right way, a mild caloric deficit no more than 500 cal below your total daily energy expenditure, and stick to the ketogenic macros.

Mishmashing caloric restriction and a ketogenic diet, low-carb, high-protein, etc. all of these diet theories and plans what not, together is not doing anything to help you, more is not better, pick a plan and do it properly, don't mishmash a bunch of different plans together because you think the more you do the better your results will be, generally the more you do and the more scattered those things are, the less results you will see or less favorable results you will see. You end up screwing yourself over by creating hormone imbalance and inflammatory stress responses because of the stress from severe caloric restriction, any exercise you do on top of that, nutrient deficiencies, any underlying anxiety issues you have, etc., the more stress you have, the more your body wants to hold onto its reserves, and it will do everything in its power to keep you alive and not starve, this includes lowering your thyroid hormone output in order to compensate for the things you are doing. Your body has many mechanisms to make you slow down even though you don't want to do so, it's your reptilian brain's desire for self-preservation.

Google "chronic caloric restriction and chronic stress and adaptive thermogenesis" for more formation, you can also read up on how chronic stress and starvation impact your cognitive function as well, it kind of make you stupid, at least temporarily, your brain shrinks when you starve, mentioning "brain fog"' that is associated with a lowering of metabolic rate and slow down of thyroid hormone conversion and overall output that is associated with those two things. And, to add insult to injury it's a vicious cycle in that the more stressed you are the less your body is able to deal with that stress, especially if your nutrition is not supported and you don't listen to your body and actually slow down/rest.

I realize I went off on a crazy tangent there, but one can of tuna day is not a ketogenic diet, that's just starving yourself, that's not manipulating macronutrients or doing anything good for you or your body in anyway shape or form.
