Just got down to bmi 16.8 and was wondering what y’all’s experience is, specifically symptoms or anything you had to deal with/ be aware of. :)

I was stuck there for about a year at 44kg lol. I was in a binge purge cycle and tried to restrict otherwise so felt fatigued most of the time even though I had lots of caffeine.

Some people do well and some people find this BMI to be tiring but it depends mostly on your behaviours and nutrition rather than weight.

High restriction with multivitamin, electrolytes and minerals will make you feel the best of course.

I was absolutely fine there personally except a lot harder to remain continent. a lot of running to bathroom. wasn't there for long though

Hey, I just wanted to check in with you because my automatic assumption was that you were being invalidating; I realize that I often misunderstand and didn’t want to create bad will over a little misinterpretation :)

I felt ok mostly...I was cold all the time and lost my period, but otherwise I didn't notice any impact on my functioning.

But.

I was like fourteen lmao. So, as an adult with 10+ years of ED behaviours under my belt, ngl I'm expecting it to be a lot rougher when I get there. I'm trying to go slow though so my body isn't so depleted.

i'm fluctuating between 16.8 and 17 and i feel fine except it hurts to sit on hard surfaces or lean against stuff. sometimes i get really out of it but that might be a mental thing. i'm cold a lot (i can get warm easily tho), my hands and feet go numb. but bmi 16s are my favorite in terms of how i look and how i feel and it's very maintainable for me
