So here birthdays and namedays are a HUUUGE deal for my family, and usually they will have a cake, chocolate and just traditional foods like rasols(olivier salad) and a lot of the time meat. So the thing is, these days HORRIFY me, and I think that eating on these days will absolutely ruin any progress I've made, but can that realistically even happen? Would just being 'normal' for these days make me gain like a shit ton of weigh? I want to be able to not panic when these days come around if there is no reason for it 😭
Edit: Honestly I just feel bad because I feel like when I decide to make a fuss about it, it ruins the day for everyone in a way?

One day of normal eating won't make you gain weight, especially if you stay on or around your TDEE. If you have small portions of the food, you won't go over your TDEE, even if the foods themselves are high calorie.
