is the 81-58-84 rule accurate?? i’m about 168-170 cm and have a 67 cm waist and 94 cm hips does that mean i don’t have the build for ballet? i’m training so much and my teacher and some of my classmates said i’m very talented and i train every day to try to go pro will my hips/waist jeopardize that? i’m already around bmi 18-18.5 does that mean i have to lose more? i have practically no boobs anyway so that part isn’t the issue but will i have to give up my dream because my hips are too wide? i could only reach those measurements doing extreme low res and not growing or gaining muscle in my lower body whicch is difficult with ballet and otherwise everything fits like i accidentally kicked a girl in the face during class because my extensions are so high and i live and breathe ballet and even my teacher who almost never gives compliments directly said i was very good so does my body mean that i’ll have to give up wanting to do ballet professionally?? i really hope not and i know standards are changing but i also know that it’s changing slowly and i really really want to become a professional ballerina
