Yeah it's rare that I get a high and dissociate or feel good after BPing. Most of the time I'm sad, depressed or even suicidal at times. And then sometimes I just feel nothing just empty

It's the same for me with getting drunk I never knew how I'll react and feel afterwards

I think it is literally the dopamine rush wearing off. For me it usually already starts to wear off during the purging. The food eating is the rush for me, the purging is just the dirty deed I need to do to keep my weight in check and it usually feels horrible, cause I have a bad gag reflex, don't purge regularly and take ageeeees for certain binges.
I have exactly the same feeling I have after B/P when my drugs wear off, so my theory is the sudden drop after the dopamine rush is what does it.
I am also usually depressed, sad and just want to sleep
