I’m wondering if anyone here has results from alternate day fasting, or periodic fasting?

I haven't really done alternate day fasting but during my 5-8 day water fasts I tend to lose around 8-15 lbs max. I know most of it could be water weight, but I also see a very noticeable difference in the mirror after the fasts because I don't let myself look at my body in the mirror during fasts so that when I finish a fast I can see how much of a difference it's had on my body.

I've been doing it for a month and I'm down 6 pounds but literally not restricting on eating days

Not quite alternate day fasting, but a few months ago I did: eat 1 day, fast 2 days, repeat

I lost 15 lbs in a month, but I was at the higher end of overweight to start with. On my eating days I binged sometimes. Overall it was good, but you have to be strict with yourself and stick to it. I gained half of it back after getting out of a routine and starting to binge more regularly again. But I am back on it now, and I'm gonna start counting calories on my eating days and limit to around 1600.

One of my friends (who doesn't have an ED afaik) lost around 15 lbs in a month doing OMAD. OMAD seems more sustainable imo, but if you have the willpower then ADF will give better results as long as you make sure to keep track of what you're eating on your eating days.

I do a 20hr fast everyday and only eat between 5pm-9pm (depending on what I'm doing that day) I have a tiny snack 100-200 cal so I can drive then around 9 I have dinner up to 500 cal. Doing this for a week now and I've lost 3lbs since Monday so I'm going to continue. Not hungry like ever, best start to a relapse ever lol

But I think every other day would help when at a lower weight cos I remember that helping a lot last time when I got under like 120lbs
