You know how everyone says that junk food is addictive?
Well, I have found that some of the clean foods can be addictive as well 😅 in a sense that it is so difficult to stop eating them once you start

I have 2 particular foods in mind: for me it is carrots and beets. Carrots are usually just the right amount of sweet and crunchy. And the beets have a distinct earthy taste that is really unique. Good thing that both are low calorie so I can allow myself to eat more of them

What are yours?
I am seriously addicted to dried seaweed lol, I went through 12 packages of it in 4 days 💀

ripe banana phase rn
a bad banana is devastating but a good banana is microdosing divinity

I love frozen red or black grapes. Genuinely tastes better than a lot of high calorie desserts.

Green grapes especially frozen omg
Frozen grapes were actually one of my first safe foods!! At the start of my ED I ate lot's of frozen fruits, but I loved frozen grapes in particular. Haven't had them in some time bc I became low carb for over a year but I'm trying to re-introduce them.

Seitan is one of my favourites. Super lean vegan protein source. Low kcal. And I like the texture.

Sometimes I feel like I am the only one who dislikes nuts (I only like cashews but not to the extent to consider them addictive)
I don't dislike nuts but they'd never be a snack that I'd choose or not be able to leave alone or anything. Cashews are my favourite too and I'd definitely eat those (if they were flavoured/salted) but every other nut I'd probably leave tbh. Maaaybe pistachios but that's about all.

Salad sandwiches. No dressing, just mustard.

i’m scared to cut watermelon for my family because while cutting it i always eat so much of it and feel so disgustingly bloated afterwards from the water

bananas. they’re somewhat filling, but you don’t have to chew it much.. meaning i can down 4 bananas within the span of a few minutes no problem. and if i add greek yogurt, or peanut butter… ITS OVER.

apples, grapes, frozen blueberries, broccoli with sugar free bbq sauce, egg whites with sugar free ketchup, oatmeal with cinnamon, AVOCADO.
i love food…

Omg it’s so true about carrots and beets!!! I could eat those for hours. I love that earthy flavor (I don’t want to say ‘dirt’ but it kind of is!) it gives me this feeling of freshness like the smell of earth after rain. Pertrichor I think it is called. Beets really give me that feeling. Also it just makes me feel like a health nature goddess lol.
