i ended up dry fasting for a little over 34 hours and broke it with a few sips of strawberry kiwi propel. i think i am gonna liquid fast today but since i lost more than expected yesterday (and i'll hopefully hit 110 either tonight or tmr) i might do super low res tmr (200cal max). ive been craving a jimmy john's unwich (70-freaking-cal for an entire sandwich!!!) ever since i saw someone post about it in the ana forum. if i do end up eating tmr, it would be my usual liquds (green tea, cirkul water, coke zero) and 1 or 2 unwich sandwiches which would come out to around 86 - 156cal for the day.
little update lol...i think i understand why people dont recommend dry fasting or least one of the reasons. i've drunk around 8oz of water and showered and gained 0.2lbs...like i know it water weight but still. im considering taking 1 or 2 lax and maybe eating something small so that ill be able to drink my usual 45 - 60z of fluids while it all getting flushed out by tomorrow cause i dont wanna wake up tmr weighing 1+ lb heavier due to water retention.
so i ended up "binging"...luckily everything was prepackaged and i was able to keep track of calories and i ended up eating exactly 1200cal. obvi im kinda disappointed in myself but im trying to remember that i wont gain real fat from 1200cal. i really do wanna avoid the food weight though so i ended up taking around 7 lax and i might take some more tmr. ive also made the decision not to fast tmr (which would be my usual response to a binge). i really wanna break that binge/purge/fast cycle so im sticking with my previously planned 200cal max. tmr and then will go on to do 500cal max. for the rest of the week.
so i gained 0.6 from my “binge” yesterday which ig isn’t too bad. i’m glad to be back eating my usual 500cal max tmr and hopefully this will reduce my urge to binge. i’m also excited to get back to my usual workout routine. since i fasted most of last week i wasn’t able to go to my usual workout classes due to low energy but now that i’m eating again i’m excited to get in the gym and burn more calories!!
since i’m eating again im going back to intermittent fasting which i usually do but im gonna try to shorten my window. i usually just go for 12:00 - 8:00 (16:8) but i think i wanna make it 1:30 - 7:30 (18:6). i really wanna avoid food weight gain as much as possible. i’m only able to take lax on specific days so im hoping pushing my eating window back will give my body more time to digest or burn whatever i eat.
this is so fucking frustrating! ik i didn’t gain fat but this water retention is fucking ridiculous. as much as ik i should just continue my normal intake and “it’ll pass” i just can’t…i have to fast. i’m doing a liquid fast and i’m gonna try to aim for 70oz of fluids. i also have 2 workouts planned for the day so hopefully that helps. it would be one thing if i maintained 111 but gaining 2 fucking pounds i just can’t deal with. i should have been sub-110lbs by now
im seriously considering doing alternate day fasting until the end of march. i would continue to have 100cal max on my liquid fasting days and then aim for around 650cal max. on my eating days. i just am so desperate to get to sub-110. it feels like every time i get close to 110 my weight increases somehow. its literally every. damn. time. idk maybe im just being too hard on myself but i have to be doing something wrong whether its binging or water retention or whatever. im gonna make a seperated post with the plan for the rest of march
4pm - okay...so i was a little heated this morning when writing this lol. i really need to break my "binge"/fast cycle so im just gonna continue with 500cal max. a day. i may need to just step away from the scale for a few days cause the frustration and self-hating thoughts have been a lot...
since my weight went down, barely but nonetheless, i was even gonna mention the fact that i binged again last night. idk what's going on with me...i prob wouldve been 111.something if i didnt binge and i was honestly ecstatic when i was i still ended up losing weight. i have exactly 2 weeks until a big event and i would really like to be 105lbs (at the absolute max) and i dont feel like it's unrealistic to lose 8ish pounds in two weeks considering how much i lost last week. i need to get my act together because i know i can do. i feel like im just sabotaging myself.
as of right now, here's the plan: keep the max at 500 (may raise it to 650cal if im having really bad cravings); aim for mostly liquids and/or lower cal on the weekends since i dont workout on saturday and sundays; aim for net calories to be at 0 or in the negatives everyday; stick to mostly fruit, eggs, veggies, and mostly vegan protein
